Basic Spanish Language Skills

Students who earn a microcredential in Basic Spanish Language skills have an introductory knowledge of Spanish and Hispanic vocabulary, grammar, and culture. Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to use authentic, real-world language through interpretive listening, viewing, and reading, as well as spontaneous speaking and writing. Transferable skills include cultural competence, interpersonal communication, writing, and speaking. To earn this credential, the following course must be successfully completed: SPN 102 Beginner’s Course OR SPN 111 Intensive Basic Spanish
