Mechatronics

Students who earn a Microcredential in Mechatronics will be able to design and install mechatronic systems and subsystems or components, including HMI, programmable controllers, and internet of things. Students will be able to troubleshoot mechatronic systems by recognizing malfunctions. Finally, students will be able to read and generate technical documents related to mechatronics. Transferable skills include problem solving, critical thinking, data analysis, and adaptability. To earn this credential, the following courses must be successfully completed: ENT 311 Process Control Interface Design (prereq ENT 193 or programming background/experience) ENT 402 Industrial Automation Lab (prereq ENT 311) ENT 407 Modern Manufacturing (prereq ENT 151 or background/experience with engineering materials)
