4 Credentials
Students who earn a Microcredential in Industrial Robotics & Automation will be able to identify, operate, and use basic robotic programming and positioning of industrial robotic systems. They will be able to design and troubleshoot robotics systems by utilizing programmable logic controllers. Finally, students will be able to apply safety rules in the design and operation of robotics systems.
Transferable skills include problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication.
To earn this credential, the following courses must be successfully completed:
ENT 296 - Programmable Logic Controllers (prerequisite ENT 192; considerable experience working with DC circuits will be considered to meet this requirement)
ENT 313 - Introduction to Robotics (prerequisite ENT 192; considerable experience working with DC circuits will be considered to meet this requirement)
ENT 413 - Industrial Robotics Lab (prerequisite ENT 313)
