Computer-Aided Design

Students who earn a Microcredential in Computer-Aided Design will be skilled in 2D and 3D mechanical drafting and modeling as well as familiar with the manufacturing and fabrication processes. Students will work directly with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Excel, and Computer Numerical Control. Transferable skills include problem solving, computer skills, critical thinking, and decision making. To earn this credential, the following courses must be successfully completed: ENT 135 - Computer-Aided Drafting ENT 235 - Computer-Aided Design (prerequisite ENT 135) ENT 152 - Computer-Aided Manufacturing I (Note: ENT 152 has a co-requisite of MTH 125; considerable math experience will be considered to meet this requirement)
